With God, Hardwork and Determination, you are sure to conquer/break your way through and achieve your Dreams/Objectives. Today on Exclusives with SammytheAuthor, an Inspiring Ghanaian Serial Entrepreneur shares with us, his life story and career as an Entrepreneur and CEO of Platinum Africa Solutions Ltd. Checkout the Interview Below!
1: Who is Mr. Derrick S. Vormawor?
I am a business consultant, and a marketing strategist. I run PASL which is focused on helping businesses to start, grow and expand profitably and strategically. Sometimes, I get invited to speak at events and I also do some writing on business and entrepreneurship as well as a Vlog on social media. I am the creator of The Business Startup Clinic currently being sponsored by Access Bank’s W-Initiative in Ghana, and the 5K Challenge sponsored by Code 57 and starting off this summer 2020 in Ghana. Aside business and entrepreneurship, I am a whole mood and vibe on a personal level. Lol!
2: What’s the Story behind Your Personality?
I learned to fully embrace who I am and can be and decided to design my own life. You know, if your life is your biggest project, why not design it?
Ever since, I have been on an amazing personal journey. No one can change my perception about ‘me’ any longer and the things I could achieve in life. This mindset and experience drive my personality. I recognize that I am human, and life would always happen with or without me, so I better get my groove on whiles I am here.BFF5490E-7916-4B9A-A1A5-64687F4336E3

3: Tell us more about the Educational aspect of Your Life.
I started my primary education at Apam Royal Preparatory school in the Central Region, then I continued at Christ Ebenezer Preparatory School in Darkuman. I moved on to Christ Vision International School for my junior high education and completed at Anglican Church’s school, both in Prampram. Afterwards, I did an IT course at IPMC in Tema then I went to pursue ‘Business’ at Anlo Senior High School in Anloga (Volta Region). I later read a Diploma in Business Studies at Excellent Business College in Madina, then I went on to do a Bsc. Banking & Finance at University of Professional Studies, Accra. Presently, I am pursuing an MSc. General Management in Germany.f1a3a9ad-fce8-4fff-bf47-648c08030de9 2

4: At what point did you realize you could start a Company of Your Own? What Inspired that Decision?
Before I started my company, I did not have any big dreams. I promise, I never thought I could become who I have become today. I only wanted a regular life and I was a contract staff in a Bank at the time, but life happened. I lost my job and through the process of recovering myself from the heartbreak, I decided to do something for myself. I realized I loved creating strategies, and taking on business problems, and finding solutions for them. I started with one client, a borrowed laptop, a small dream, and presently our company is worth a couple of hundreds of thousands of dollars in value, with a greater vision. We are building the most reliable business consulting firm in Africa.
5: Being the Founder/CEO of Platinum Africa Solutions, what are some the necessary measures, you put in place to ensure that your Company runs smoothly and productively?
It’s not easy running PASL. I serve in two roles. As a CEO & a Lead consultant. I get involved in every single thing happening. I lead by example. I have a relationship with my team members. Aside the fact that I have created structures to function, the company is able to run productively because we thrive on teamwork, respect for one another, we choose our clients wisely and we take on what we can deliver. Everybody in PASL is intrinsically motivated and we don’t joke with our work and our people.15780924_841400982668967_1288877154078322675_n

My Childhood Was Covered With Domestic Abuse And Violence. Art was an Escape For Me- Mr. Chris Mukasa, C.E.O/Founder of Fatumas Voice Shares In An Interview.

Chris 1

Your Dreams are possible, regardless of where and how You were born; You are here, what impact are you gonna make to better your life and the lives of others. Today on Exclusives with SammytheAuthor, an Inspiring Kenyan Entrepreneur shares with us, his life story and career as an Entrepreneur and CEO/Founder of Fatumas Voice Kenya. Checkout the Interview Below!

1: Who’s Mr. Chris Mukasa?

Besides being known as the Founder of Fatuma’s Voice, I am a dynamic person who loves exploring. Although I am inquisitive and outgoing, I also value intentional solitude.

2: What’s the Story behind Your Passion to do what you do??

Just like many of my peers, the background of my childhood was covered with domestic abuse and violence. Art was an escape for me but I soon found solutions within it. This inspired me to work with like-minded creatives and start Fatuma’s Voice, which is slowly transforming into an African community movement . Our goal is to encourage creative expression and drive for social change.

3: Wow!!Awesome…You sailed through regardless..Being the CEO/Founder for Fatumas Voice, what are some of the Impacts you have made so far with your Initiative?Anything Sharable?

chris 2

Since we begun in July 2013, we have been using simple and creative avenues like; open debates, political art, conscious music, expressive dance and social-issue based theatre, to creatively reaffirm people about the significance of their voice. We have grown from a small weekly event in Nairobi into a themed and structured forum independently coordinated by the local youth in three different counties; that is Nakuru, Mombasa and Kisumu.

By 10th December 2016, we had held 142 youth forums where we hosted 1,420 artistic performers and attracted a live audience of 15,000 participants and over 500,000 online participators. Our goal is to replicate it to each and every African country. Besides focusing on the number of participants engaged, we also keep track on attitude change and level of participation. We involve the community in the process of defining the social metrics and indicators they expect to see. People are interviewed before and after the forums and the feedback compiled in testimonials and case studies.

We have seen an improved understanding about social issues within communities we have worked with. We have experiences people changing their attitudes towards political accountability by realizing that their personal action or inaction is connected to the political space. We have witnessed an increased sense of ownership and responsibility in the process of creating social change. Fatuma’s Voice now seeks to increase impact by replicating the forum in other African countries. Our first event out of the country was all the way in West Africa, in Ghana. The forum was called Youth Uniting Africa and it happened in July 2019.

4: Powerful!!! Any challenges faced so far?

Systematic manipulation through social institutions like Education, Politics, and Mass media, is used to maintain status quo. Individuals grow up thinking social action is blocked by government policies, which disconnects the community on the ground from the government leaders. People lose trust and develop a culture of self-imposed silence. Our biggest challenge is to address this issue by creating awareness and helping people break out of a restricted system that doesn’t allow critical thinking.

Few Things You Need To Know About Pastor Joel Osteen; His Life And Ministry.

joel
Joel Scott Osteen (born March 5, 1963) is an American Pastor, Televangelist, and Author, based in Houston, Texas. Osteen’s televised sermons are seen by over 7 million viewers weekly and over 20 million monthly in over 100 countries.
Joel Osteen was born into a nuclear family of eight (8) in Houston. His Father, a former Southern Baptist Pastor, founded Lakewood Church (of Which Osteen is the Current Pastor) behind an old feed Store. Osteen Attended Humble High School, a public high School in the City of Humble, Texas, graduated in 1981 and furthered his education at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he studied radio and television communications, but for some reason unknown to the public, he never graduated; a degree wasn’t given from a divinity School. He returned to houston in 1982 and founded Lakewood’s Television Program, where he produced his father’s televised sermons for 17 years until January 1999, when his father kicked the bucket (died) unexpectedly from Myocardial infarction (heart attack).

He was encouraged by his father to preach for many years but his quest to work behind the scenes, he declined until January 17, 1999 when he accepted his father’s proposal/counsel and preached his first sermon. Two (2) weeks after his father’s death, he began preaching regularly and was installed as the new Senior Pastor of Lakewood church later that year – October 3, 1999. Since then, Church attendance grew from 5,000 to 43,000.
Lakewood Church later acquired the NBA Houston Rockets’ former home, Compaq Center in 2003 which was renovated at the cost of $105 million. The renovations took over 15 months to complete, and included the addition of five stories to add more capacity. Lakewood’s 2005 grand opening was attended by an estimated 56,000 people, including Texas Governor Rick Perry and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.

I Survived Food Poisoning And Nearly Gave Up On Everything. Business Coach and Founder of IAES Africa, Caroline Esinam Adzogble Shares!!

caroline 3

Caroline Esinam Adzogble is a profound Entrepreneur, Educationist, Business Coach, Diversity maverick, an advocate for women and girls in technology and the founder of IAES Africa, Potters International College, Admission in 30 Minutes, Everyday Travels and Tours, Caroline Technology Solutions, President of Caroline University and the Mercy Heart Foundation.
Madam Caroline recently revealed some shocking challenges she faced on her Journey to be Successful. I pray and hope this Story inspires/motivates You. Regardless of the Problems/Challenges you encounter on your path, make sure you don’t quit. Remember, “So long as there’s Life, There’s Hope”. You will Succeed if You Dont Quit.
This is what she posted on her Instagram Page.
“My crime in 2019 was that I surrounded myself with people who didn’t want me to be who God says I needed to be. I met my previous chef the other day and he told me ‘Caroline I happened to be in a meeting where they plotted, I knew everything that was going to happen, I didn’t tell you about it because I wanted you to go through it’ then I asked him *who’s call was it to decide what I had to go through* This was because I was a happy little girl😂. I nearly gave up on everything. I nearly killed myself but anytime I tried someone walked in on me. I survived food poisoning. I escaped car chases. I have overstepped all the traps set for me. But the Gag is, God showed up and showed out as always. I cannot actually count my blessings. Maybe I should produce a documentary about my 2019. This is to say I MADE IT. I SURVIVED IT. I actually still can’t believe that I did. I look into the future with a lot of hope. God is good. Help me thank him. Trust me when I say We aren’t ready for 2020.”
